At the Centre for Global Epilepsy, we foster international research networks and connect experts across various disciplines to drive innovation and progress in epilepsy care. Through global conferences, summits, and collaborative initiatives, we create dynamic spaces for the exchange of ideas and expertise. We also play an active role in supporting funding applications and resource development to ensure the continued advancement of epilepsy research worldwide. Centre for Global Epilepsy Launch

On 31 January 2025, the Centre for Global Epilepsy was officially launched at Wolfson College, Oxford, bringing together over 100 guests from across the globe, including experts from Africa, South America, the US, and Europe. The launch event was a powerful demonstration of global collaboration, featuring discussions from international researchers, healthcare professionals, and individuals with lived experience of epilepsy. It highlighted our efforts to foster international networks and interdisciplinary partnerships, while laying the foundation for future collaborative research, capacity-building initiatives, and the development of tools to improve epilepsy care worldwide.
